Dr. John Carthy MD
Dr. Carthy worked at Clifton-Fine Hospital from 1971 to 1986, and has recently returned to the delight of many local residents who remember him well. He received his bachelor’s degree from Fordham College, New York, NY, his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College, and completed his residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital,New York, NY. Dr. Carthy has a New York State License in Medicine
and Surgery. He served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps as Major,USAMC, Tokyo, Japan from 1968-1970. Dr. Carthy and his wife, Hiroko,reside in Star Lake, and they have 5 sons and a daughter.
Dr. Alecia VanWagner DO
Dr. Alecia Van Wagner was raised in Sherburne,New York. She attended West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, NY. She has a New York State Medical license with training in all aspects of Family Medicine with a special interest in women’s medicine and pediatrics. Dr. Van Wagner and her husband have recently moved to Cranberry Lake where they live with their 2 young children.
Ashley Ryan PA
Ashley Ryan,Physician Assistant, comes to the Adirondack region from Charleston, South Carolina. Ms. Ryan received her bachelor’s degree from College for Charleston, and master’s degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. She has a New York State Physician Assistant License. We welcome Ashley and her husband, Garret, a First Lieutenant stationed at Fort Drum, to the Clifton-Fine hospital and Clinic family. Ashley and her husband reside in Gouverneur, NY.
